Not realy understood your question, but you can use something like ahrefs to check every backlink for any site you want.

Ahrefs is doing this for, each domain, no follow, do follow...anything

Alt is very simillar to anchor text, so better not overspam like "how to treat infarct" if it's not exactly explains how) the siplier - the better

Did you check the article from the point of view of originality? less than 85% isn't good enough.

I would start with local SEO, comments on blogs from your niche, and after that will follow up with guest posts

Images are good as long as they are unique(unique photos are the best) and gives a good decription in the alt(it's your anchor text for images), good luck testing!

Don't start you linkbuilding campaign without certain knowledge, it may do more harm than good, follow basic manuals for linkbuilding from moz and BHW, good luck!

Really depends on directory, there were few that were extremely good, but overall it's not that big of a deal, I'd rather submit a good unique article to the good site of my niche as a guestpost.

Depends on your budget, I'd prefer 4-5 links from less authoritive sites than 1 from huffington.

Spend some money on any SEO tool that show backlinks (like ahrefs), check you competitior's links, post yours - done. Not only competitors but good sites/blogs overall.

From what I know, directory submissions are no longer useful. Links from footer and sidebar don't give as much as iside content links(guestposts). But overall you can't say that something is old and it's no use to spend a lot time on it, in my opinion you should spend the same amount of time and...
