Traffic is mainly US based and they are both general how to videos, one is about wordpress and the other is about php.

I'd test it with a free one to see if anyone bites, and if so, pay for a nice one to be coded. A simple plugin like that will be cheap and you'll be able to personalize it however you want.

Not positive but I've read about doing this before and Google will still see it anyways with whatever super powers they have. I've not yet see a way to do this over a long amount of time successfully, though obviously it would be a gold mine if you could.

I find that using all of them I find gives me the best idea as they will all tell you something different. It's like a majority rules thing with me because one site will tell you 50 searches, next will tell you 1000, one says very hard difficulty while the next says it's medium ect.

If you didn't have your videos monetized when using Vagex and no longer use it and now want to monetize videos through Adsense, you should be OK. They don't care where you got views in the past, it's where your views they are paying you to show ads to come from that they care about.
