For some background I use these proxies for scraping and mailing (well, I try to) However the mail program doesn't work if the proxy stops working and the scraper freezes up.

I am having trouble with a reliable proxy server. I download a proxy list with proxyfinder and but it in proxy switcher and test them but by the time the autoswitcher gets to them some of them are dead. What should I do? I have heard proxy firewall in a search here, but what does that mean?
