what do you mean by "local domain" - do you mean a domain with the locality in the actual domain name, or do you mean the TLD from the country (i.e. ".CA" for canada)

There are plugins for firefox (and probably other browsers) to manage multiple proxies. I use one called "Foxy Proxy", its really easy to switch between proxies. I also recommend a plugin to manage and clear your cookie sessions easily as well because even if you are changing your IP address...

Also I should add a note to the people who were asking for ways to track social media analytics. Just use google analytics and set it up to track social media. You can track everything there and its fairly easy and accurate. Just google "google analytics social media" for more info.
