But these sites are ranking highly with mainly just adult tube site backlinks which is bizarre. Do they pass any link juice at all if they're relevant links? e.g. in adult tube video descriptions?

I've been mining into my competitors backlinks (I run an online adult store) and I've found that they're getting quite a few links from adult tube websites, currently they're ranked 1 - 4 within my search terms. I thought google penalizes links from adult xxx websites? Or has this changed? Thanks

Currently, I've got a few quite high DA links on some related sites, but they're all linking to my homepage. Will this pass link juice on to my category/product pages as well or just queries for my main site? Thanks

Thanks for answering guys. Was weird to see it happening but I guess it's just testing the waters with the site and seeing what it gets. But with 0 backlinks going to #10 for a medium keyword just freaked me out. (Actually it made me jump for joy but then...)

Ah thanks ValidSEO - yes it is a new site, never been registered domain so I guess google is just poking it every now and then.

They don't just drop e.g. 13 -> 54. They actually just disappear. An example of this = Started ranking for a keyword on Monday #10 straight out the gates, then over the last few days it hasn't ranked at all!

Not too sure what's going on really. My site starts ranking for a keyword, 2 days later it just disappears from the search results on webmaster console? Has anyone experienced this - is it common? Would love to know more about why it does it? Thanks
