Moving A Domain: How Should I Approach The 301?

So I have this random site that I built last year, but really don't do anything with. I originally saw the domain at Expired Domains and it had decent metrics for a starter site, no Chinese spam-site history and it was exactly what it said it was for many years (e-commerce), which was surprising...

Does Amazon Affiliate Program Allow this?

I see two things that could get an affiliate in trouble. 1. You're not allowed to encourage or incentivize people to click on links. Incentivizing could be something as blatant as telling people that clicking through will donate to charity, or as seemingly harmless as "help support our website...

Opinion: Scraping Sites From Wayback. Good Or Bad?

The problem is, some of the sites that look good in one of my niches, are written as personal reviews from collectors. The content is top notch, but I guess risky.

Opinion: Scraping Sites From Wayback. Good Or Bad?

LOL, I imagine. Yeah, this one turned me off of buying for one seller here (don't remember who, not important) tried to give me the domain of someone's name, but what's worse is it had the middle name too. The seller tried to tell me "no, it's okay we do it all the time." I looked up the guy...

There's a new one on .COM as well, as of Feb 1st.

[Amazon Affiliate] What is your approach to International Amazon Affiliate?

I agreed, right now I don't have any niche sites where I could utilize eBay as much, but I have a couple of random links on my personal blog from years ago that still generate. I've been thinking of making an ebay related site, just find that Amazon converts so well if you do it right. Yeah, I...

[Amazon Affiliate] What is your approach to International Amazon Affiliate?

I just found this out recently on the associate discussion board. It's like walking on eggshells with this program.

[Amazon Affiliate] - Is it Worth Doing for Low Value Items?

The advantage of having low ticket items in addition to higher priced items is, if you have something that converts really well, all those small items will drive up your "shipped items" and increase your tiered commissions. "Ship 10 more items to increase to 7%"

Actually yeah, you do. Sorry, I misunderstood.

[Amazon Affiliate] What is your approach to International Amazon Affiliate?

Not the way EasyAzon does, but you can set the default marketplace depending on who you're targeting. (You can do that with links anyway, but whatever) I haven't explored it too much myself because I have EasyAzon and the Amazon offcial is just too basic right now.

[Amazon Affiliate] What is your approach to International Amazon Affiliate?

I use the regular Amazon disclosure. EasyAzon itself uses the Amazon API and implements a lot of things to make sure they don't break TOS. Example: when you hover over a link, price info pops up. Amazon doesn't let us use pricing unless it's through their API, or we show the "used price" as...

    All the Reddit secrets exposed

Great stuff, while those of us in IM know this stuff goes on, it's really hard to explain to well-meaning and otherwise intelligent friends who don't have a clue that the cringeworthy shit they share in the name of "political truth" is all a sham.

[Amazon Affiliate] What is your approach to International Amazon Affiliate?

I use EasyAzon, it's great. As mentioned, Amazon has their own plugin now, but it's still way behind what EasyAzon does. I will say this about international sales, Amazon Canada sucks. Not only is product availability low, it's expensive as hell. I had a link for a product that was $20, after...

Does Clickbank allow *YourDomain*.com to forward to Affiliate.Vendor.hop.clickbank.net?

I guess I forgot about the CJ dormant period because I've always been able to bring in a few sales here and there. But I went back and read it, and if you don't make a sale within six months, it's $10 I use: Amazon as my main program. I never took it seriously before because of the short...

Have you ever looked into other programs besides CB?

Does Clickbank allow *YourDomain*.com to forward to Affiliate.Vendor.hop.clickbank.net?

Okay, yes I understand now. And yeah, that's my problem with it too. Not only do some of the vendor pages look like dinosaurs, but the checkout page might not look so trustworthy to buyers either. Are you building new sites for each niche, or do you just have a regular blog that talks about...
