e.g. I have this this link when I hover over it says: domain.net/go.php?url=http://mysite.com
There is no nofollow-tag. Would it count as a normal link or is it somehow devalued?
I am pretty sure that this is not the case for the simple reason that I did not any backlink building for the English site. They were ranking pretty well without any backlinks or just a few ones which I had acquired organically because of my great content (haha).
But seriously guys I dont get...
redirection is correct. Also those https pages are indexed. So again what is so weird here for me is that from a bilingual site the pages for one language benefitted INSTANTLY and ranked better whereas the pages for the other language completely lost their ranking even after 2 months.
so it does not surprise you that one part of the site got its ranking back instantly without any drop whereas the other part of the site does not show anything after two months?
I have a bilingual site. French and English. Big site, 5 years old
2 months ago I changed from http to https
What happened since then
1) Rankings for French pages went through the roof. Massive improvements, more visitors
2) English pages are indexed with https so google found them. But they...
search console is your best option to see at least some of the keywords. If you know in general which keywords are important for your niche (and you should know that!) + you know which keywords you have targeted with your content so far you can easily find out yourself

I have big chunks of text on my home page and other landing pages. I need the text to rank obviously but I would like to hide / not show most of the text for mobile users (conditional loading based on media queries) to keep it clean.

In the past years I rarely saw this happening for the tough keywords. If so it was a temporary phenomenon so after a couple...
if the site is down for a couple of weeks / months then it is not indexed anymore in most cases. Nothing wrong with that. Not-indexed does NOT necessarily mean that the domain was penalized. My best expired domains were not indexed at the time I bought them.
I only buy expired domains of previously non-commercial sites. That somewhat reduces the options but makes sure that it is has a clean and spam-free history
Hi folks
I built a new amazing aggregation project which will absolutely crush the competition, help my clients to live a better life and pay me millions of $$$.
At the moment I have around 30,000 pages indexed. Now I decided to make a major change in the URL structure. This will affect around...
I know reciprocal links are not that powerful anymore or can even harm. I still use them as part of my backlink mixture and have never had any problems.
I am wondering now about that situation: I am receiving a doofollow link and link back to that site with nofollow attribute. Will the inbound...
I dont have links for the users to select their location. They are 302 redirected based on geolocation. Not sure if the google bot if only redirected to the US site because the bot has a US IP
