A few years ago, I trialled a script that would capture email addresses from website visitors without them signing up. It mostly worked for US visitors. Not UK/EU due to GDPR. I can't for the life of me remember what the script was called. Anyone know of scripts thaty do this? Thanks

One of our competitor's sites has a sitemap that every time your refresh it, the 'lastmod' date and time changes to the current time. Firstly, what are they using to do that and secondly, does it impact SEO? I'm guessing it could as it might seem the site is always updating to crawl bots. Thanks
