Let's say I have a site regarding Xs, and I have a page for X1 and X2 and the 2 pages are fully optimized.
On the other hand I could have a site for X1 and a separate site for X2.
Is there any disadvantage to the latter? SEO is per-page, not per-site right?
Any help here? I mean I can look up keywords all day long, but I'm not sure - should I avoid medical? I have already decided I need to avoid technical because those people looking up technical stuff are probably not going to fall for my pseudosite.

I've been reading over the various forums, and I understand blogs as a function of backlinking of microsites, but I still don't understand what the point of having all these wordpress blogs is?
My initial thought is that it's like an easier microsite with no investment but any income from them...
