Near the end of the SeNuke project, one of the scheduled tasks is the indexer. What exactly does this do? Is this also known as "blasting" your links? Are there other programs that do just this (indexing) ? Thanks in advance

How would I do this? I've found some ping sites that just ping one page and I need lots of pages pinged. I'm using WP if that helps
