This might be a stupid question, but I know there is an advantage with advertisement revenue to have videos longer than 10 minutes. My question is, is it disadvantageous to post videos that are 13, 14, 15+ minutes long? Better put, is it advantageous to be as close to 10 minutes as possible?

I know the views are bad, but I'm short a lot of seed capital for my YT channel and I need away to get views to my videos early to rank them. Any working exchanges for this? Or any other strategies that have been working?

I'm in college now, have been on and off with strictly white hat methods since 2012. Used thebot.net for most of that time now but it's totally dead. Always was thrown off by this site because it was 'black hat', but there is definitely some great content here. Anyway, excited to meet you all!
