Oh dear, i think i found what it was, i was logged into my google account on firefox, but not on IE, back to the drawing board i guess, my site isnt ranking in the top 1000 in google, but is page 1 on both yahoo and bing, what a load of bs???? Edit ^^ you beat me to it, yep you are 100% right.

Firefox with google.com = 3rd on page 1. Firefox with google.co.uk = 2nd on page 1. IE with google.com = nothing. IE with google.com = nothing. What the hell is this? Different index's at different data centers?

I took your advice, and my site is now ranking 3rd on page 1 in google. Thank you very much man, my keyword wasn't dense enough across my site for google, although it was for bing and yahoo. I guess that's a lesson learned. Much appreciated.

So how can you be sure that you are ranking for a longtail, and not the seperated words of your longtail?

Ok thats reassuring that the longtails are being picked up in webmaster tools, i guess for some reason its not picking mine up on my site. Many thanks for the feedback, ill increase density across the whole site, and see what happens.

The entire site is relevant to the keyword, i structured the content around the longtail keyword, ill see if i can increase its density on the site, do you have longtail keywords displayed in your webmaster tools?

I usually set it to do various tasks before going to bed, and quite often when i wake up in the morning, i see it's crashed. Usually the blog analyser, or fast poster, very annoying, but ive just learned to live with it, such a great little program.

I got to page 1 of yahoo and bing fairly easily, cant rank in the top 1000 of google though, very annoying.... for bing and yahoo, just built lots of links, and then one day i popped up on page 1, i was shocked too :)
