I have 0 experience with google news, so - can a blog (sub domain/section) get in g news? assuming most of the content on the actual site is not news material, but the blog section is.

lol, was about to tell you you're looking at the total links, not total domains. network of 1082 sites.. top agency's don't have that. you have to find the right mix between using your own networks and someone else's 2nd, pretty big footprint to block (at least ask nicely?) all other crawlers ..

I host about 2-3 sites (rarely 4) on the same account. for ~$50 monthly you can have about 15 hosting accounts. every year at black friday i buy 5-6 new accounts..
