Hello,
How would you recommend to build links for social media profiles and other web 2.0 properties in a reputation management campaign?

Thanks in advance.

duh
I assume you want to push bad results back.. so blast the first 20 positive ones & create new ones on super strong sites

never blast social site results if you want them to move down... blasting a twitter account or a facebook profile will only move it up because of the power behind those sites...

create your own profiles, optimize them for your desired keywords, blast them with all the spam you've got

for web 2.0's there is a different strategy. if you want them taken down usually sending a grief letter to their offices will handle it, especially if you're complaining that the user owning that web 2.0 blog/account is using copyrighted material without your explicit knowledge and permission.

Can you recommend any fiverr services for blasting social media profiles with backlinks? eventually just what i should search for.

I absolutely agree with randomblackguy. If you want to absolutely ruin your reputation only then blast bad rewiews with backlinks. You will only push them up in rankings. :)

Yes, I'd recommend you to build links for your social profiles to bring down the negative results about you in other sites which appears on the first page of Google. Unless you have negative review from high authority PR sites its easy to make them vanish from the first page by building links to your social profiles.

Fiverr will not give you the quality and quantity you need for more reputation management campaigns. How did you get this client if you don't even know how to build links?

You need links from social media websites, high PR web profiles, press release websites and guest posts on authority websites for good online reputation management.

I have no client. At the moment i am researching how to do effective online reputation management and would like to know more.
How would you recommend that i build links to positive content (such as social media profiles, press releases etc.)?
Would you ever recommend spam links as the other users are recommending?

I think a simple Google search will give you social /web2.0 profiles needed for web2.0. Choose them according to relevant authority and niche. Buy a PRweb premium package and place natural sounding press release for your brand. If the company is ready to pay more than 5k/month,you can do quality links to these properties rather than spamming. Else, just blast those away with spun blogposts. Then, set google alert for company brand name and do weekly search for your client brand name to monitor serp. Also, if the company sells some consumer product/service, advice the customer to get some genuine reviews by giving coupon or discounts.

You want to push "bad websites" from Google TOP 10 or something other? For my clients I just create social profiles and rank other pages (company details) to push bad results from first page.

Thank you for some great answers!
How can i check backlinks for a deep url?
How do i make these spamlinks? eventually where can i pay someone to do it?

MajesticSEO.com is my favorite for checking links. There are a lot of ways to build links. The only effective way is to test various methods and find some that work. Links don't matter unless they produce results.

For web 2.0 sites you should directly target to main home page as well inner pages, You can decide the ratio as per 60% to 40% respectively.

Why not setup a system/portal for the business's clients to push genuine reviews/social commentary etc.?

This is then genuine/ethical and REAL data with a wide social footprint. It also positively affects future buying decisions from new/repeat customers as they see the social proof required to help pursuade them. This is better than just spamming temporary and 'somewhat relevant' articles and content. Obviously, this may be ncessary if dealing with several current negative issues, but if you're working with a client with very little bad existing press, and therefore protecting them and insuring them going forward, then it's all that's necessary most of the time.

BHopkins - Can you please explain to me some of the recommended ways to build such links? :)
