Consider a dedicated category page when:
  • Customers search for that product group.
  • The category represents a clear shopping need.
  • There are enough relevant products to support browsing.
  • The page can offer a useful selection and navigation experience.
Be cautious when the proposed category is just a near-duplicate of another page or contains almost no meaningful selection.

Before creating it, review the catalogue structure, search demand, and how customers navigate the store.

Good category architecture helps people discover products while giving each important page a clear purpose.

Good point. Creating too many thin category pages can do more harm than good. It’s better to focus on useful categories that match what customers are actually searching for.
