Yeah, I would start by looking at audience retention and traffic source. Maybe the new people are behaving in a way that is different from what you have observed before.Maybe check if the new video is attracting a different audience. If YouTube is testing it with the wrong viewers, the traffic can change pretty quickly.
If your views drop along with a sudden decrease in impressions, the issue is more likely related to recommendation traffic. If impressions stay roughly the same but views decline, you should take a closer look at your CTR and whether the new video matches your existing audience’s interests.

I don't think you guys understood. The whole channel is getting steady 8k views in total on all videos, shorts to be exact. As soon as i post a new short, ALL videos stop getting views for a couple hours to a couple days. Then it slowly picks up again usually. Never seen this happen before.Yeah, I would start by looking at audience retention and traffic source. Maybe the new people are behaving in a way that is different from what you have observed before.
Are you posting in one niche only, or are you trying many at a time?As you can see on the screenshot below, views keep a pretty consistent daily average, then as soon as I post a new video it drops 90% or more. This is not the first time, it's happening pretty much every time! Anyone has any idea as to why?
