the same thing happens to me too sometimes, the essay may sound gud but it may seem like it is simply repeating what others have already written. normally, I stop doing it and try to find out if I can write something on the basis of my experienc or any example. Do you revise your drafts?

Yeah, i generally edit it by including examples from my experience. In case the paragraph only repeats the same information that is already ranking, then i would prefer cutting down that paragraph or even adding an angle to it.

Sometimes I realize the article doesn't add anything new
Better to find a different angle or add something useful like real examples. No point putting out another copy of the same article
