hello,

got almost no organic traffic from google, like 55% is direct and 45% is yandex turkey which i never did anything on

the site is adult content, 3rd party links
should i get involved with yandex like with google analytics/google search console? or just let it do its thing?
is turkey traffic good geo?
is bing, duckduckgo, brave worth touching for organic traffic?

yeah definitely hook it up to yandex webmaster, takes like five minutes and you'll finally see what queries are driving that traffic. turkey is a solid geo for adult by the way, big market there. and yes, set up bing webmaster tools too, it also covers yahoo and duckduckgo traffic, free data you might as well have. brave is tiny in comparison though, wouldn't spend much time on it.

Waste of time & traffic.

You won't make that much with TR traffic.

Google is still king, I'd touch Bing organic though.

I set up three of my USA sites in Yandex Webmaster Tools for one simple reason: next to Google and Bing, Yandex has the third largest search index on the face of the planet.

It has a great multi-languageuser interface better than Bing, and not as complicated and frustrating as Google search console. it does have Geo location/targeting option, but I had a hard time getting the setting to stick.

Although that side of the world is not my target market, the tool does give me good insights - and reaffirms the strength of my brand on a global scale. Doing well in Yandex is probably also good for AI citations as well. It would be foolish for LLM‘s not to value Yandex’s massive index.

I would suggest keeping Google seo as the main focus since it has the wider reach. yandex is worth exploring if you are already getting good traffic from it, but I would treat it as an extra channel rather than replacing Google.

Firstly i would have determined the source of the Yandex traffic before taking any steps
in case it is a legitimate and reliable source i would use it while controlling its quality other search engines could be tested if their audience matched the target audience
