How many days it will take to learn video editing ?

skip premiere pro at the start... it just slows you down. grab capcut desktop because the auto captions and built-in transitions save hours. if you want to learn pacing fast, download 5 viral shorts in your niche, drop them into your timeline, and cut your own footage to match their exact cuts frame by frame. teaches you pacing way faster than any generic tutorial.

You can learn the basics in a week or two if you practice daily. Start with cuts, pacing, audio, subtitles and simple transitions before touching fancy effects.

CapCut or DaVinci Resolve is enough to start.

tbh just grab davinci resolve since the free version is insanely powerful. capcut is fine for quick shorts but if you actually want to learn the craft properly its better to start with a real timeline... saves you having to relearn everything later on.

Basically learning anything depends upon you that how much time you give it and how much practice you do. Its true that video editing is very necessary these days to get viral or get reach and engagement. So leaning a video editing gain time the more time you give to video editing tool more you learn about them and I think it will never end because with the passage of time new tools and software will discovered and you have to experience them. So I suggest you to first you have to decide why you want to learn video editing then choose a software and start learning it through youtube tutorials or physically by tutors and practice it be more better in it.

tbh don't get too bogged down in the software debate. if you just want to make quick tiktok or yt shorts capcut is fine to start. but if you actually want to learn how to cut properly and understand pacing, grab davinci resolve since its free and won't limit you later. the best way to learn is just to grab some random footage and try to make a 30 second edit... you'll learn way more trying to solve specific problems than watching hours of tutorials.

Video editing is really important skill to learn now days , good editing help you to make engagement .

I always wanted to learn video editing , tell me from where i can start my journey ?

I have learned basic video editing from YouTube videos and courses and it just took 2 days for me to edit a better good quality video.
If you want to go for advanced level with super professional it might take 1 to 2 months with lots of practice so you need to learn it as a full time. Also there is no limit of learning so once you feel confident just keep searching and look at the editing of other creators.

It depends on how much time you are willing to invest and the dedication you have. You can learn it in a few days.

every person is different

Depends on how strong your logic is

A person with high level logic will learn software, that just requires click-test-learn ... WAY FASTER than a person who's more of a literary learner *(has to read)*

But for me, the general rule of thumb is just jump in and try. You'll figure it out faster that way than trying to create some complicated process of bulleted guides 1a, 2a, 3a .. etc

But that's just me.

I learned the basics of every video editor I tried within 1 day.
So how do i train logic
