Running digital marketing workflows often means keeping access to the messages behind your online accounts. Tardigrada gives you a US carrier SIM number for receiving inbound SMS, with an online inbox and tools to connect messages to your own systems.

Choose a rental lasting 5–32 days, receive your messages online, and use the API or webhooks when you want to integrate your workflow.

Prices above are the total rental charge for one US number for the stated duration. Other whole-day durations within 5–32 days are available in the app.

Account funding: $1 USD = 100 credits. The minimum credit purchase is $10 USD. Rental charges are paid in advance from your balance; unused credits remain in your account. For example, a $10 top-up gives you 1,000 credits. A 5-day rental uses 800, leaving 200 credits.

03 / From sign-in to incoming SMS

1. Open your account. Visit Tardigrada.io, select Sign in, and enter your email. Use the emailed sign-in code; the same flow serves new and returning customers.
2. Add credits and choose a rental. Review the rental duration and total charge, then activate your number. Check its expiry in your account.
3. Receive your messages. Open your online inbox, or use the API and webhook tools for your own integration.

Activation and delivery: Rentals are activated through your account. Allow 5–10 minutes after activation for incoming messages to begin appearing. Individual SMS delivery also depends on the sender and carrier. The rental is delivered digitally; a physical SIM is not shipped to you.

Are these US numbers?
Yes. This offer is for US carrier SIM numbers. Your own location does not change the number's country.

What messaging is included?
This offer covers receiving inbound SMS through the online inbox and integration tools.

Will a number work with my preferred website?
Acceptance varies by platform and carrier. Contact [email protected] before purchasing if compatibility with a particular service is essential.

Can I keep a number longer?
Review the extension options in your account before the rental expires. Access ends when the rental ends unless it is extended; do not assume you can recover the same number after expiry or release.

Can I use the service for automation?
The REST API and incoming SMS webhooks support integrations with your own tools. You are responsible for using them only for accounts and workflows you are authorized to access.

What use is prohibited?
Fraud, phishing, spam, harassment, impersonation and other unlawful or abusive activity are prohibited. Read the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy before using the service.

05 / Refunds and early release

Voluntary early release — account credits
For eligible rentals purchased for more than five days, you can release your number early through the account refund flow. Review the displayed calculation before confirming:

• Future renewals that have not started: 75% of their cost is returned as account credits.
• Active rentals: 25% of the remaining rental value is returned as account credits. Remaining value is the fee paid minus the pricing-table cost of the days used, rounded up to whole days.
• Initial rental released within its first five days: A minimum five-day charge applies before the remaining value is calculated.
• Refund destination: These early-release refunds go to your Tardigrada credit balance and appear in your credits report. They are not withdrawals to your payment method. Releasing the number ends access to it.

Non-delivery or a faulty rental — DRAFT POLICY, OWNER CONFIRMATION REQUIRED
Proposed additional remedy: if a rental charge is taken but no working number is supplied, contact support. If we cannot supply or restore the advertised service within 24 hours of your report, you may choose a refund: the full affected rental charge if it was never usable, or the unused portion if a working rental fails due to our service. The unused portion is the price paid multiplied by the unused rental time divided by the purchased rental time, measured from the reported failure. Refunds are returned to the original payment method where supported, or through another payment method agreed with you; account credits are optional. Approved refunds are initiated within five business days. Third-party rejection alone does not establish that the rented number is faulty. Rights required by applicable law are unaffected.

For a fault or billing issue, email [email protected] with your account email, rental reference, time of the issue and a description. Do not send passwords, API keys or verification codes.
