Backlinks are just one part of the puzzle. Pages often rank without many links due to High Topical Authority and Excellent On-Page SEO. If the content perfectly matches the 'User Intent' and the keyword competition is low, Google will rank it anyway.

On the other hand, pages with links might struggle if the content quality is poor or if the links are irrelevant/low quality. Content is King, but Context is Queen!

Good point. I’ve noticed the same — strong search intent and topical relevance can make a huge difference, especially when the keyword isn’t very competitive. Backlinks help, but they’re definitely not the whole picture.

Backlinks are only a part of the picture. A page can rank even with few links if the site has strong topical authority, good internal linking, and matches search intent, and most importantly faces relatively low competition.
