I’d still test it. I’ve run products with competitors already in the market and there’s usually still room if it’s not too crowded. I’d focus on finding a different angle or creative instead of avoiding it just because someone got there first

one competitor does not sound like competition, unless the market is extremely small, and there are 10 potential customers. anything more, and am joining it

You should compete. Everyone has their own strategy, so I recommend giving it a try.

and having another person in the same route gives you a chance to peep game and see what they're not doing good, and what they're actually doing right so you can avoid mistakes while at the same time improving things that are not being attended.

You still have to test things out, my friend; if you create better content and offer more competitive pricing, you won't need to worry about the competition.
