Do you compare multiple guest post marketplaces before buying placements?

I’ve noticed that the same type of publisher can have pretty different pricing depending on where you find it. I’m curious if people here compare several marketplaces first or usually stick with one source they already know.

I usually compare a few sources before deciding. For me, quality, relevance, and real traffic matter more than just the price. Different marketplaces can have quite different options, so comparing them makes sense.

I usually compare a few marketplaces before choosing, because pricing can vary a lot for similar publishers. It also helps me check quality, traffic and overall value instead of relying on just one source.

foe me its a normal thing to compare pricing before going for any gust post but you have to check the credibility too not just pricing alone

Yes, comparison is always part of the process, especially when you have a large number of sites to choose from.

If you’re looking to publish on a particular site, you naturally want to compare its price with what other sellers are offering. Ultimately, everyone wants to find the best deal without compromising on quality.

That’s why having transparent metrics and competitive pricing is important when offering link-building services.

Price matters, but I also look at traffic, topical relevance, and whether the site has a clean link profile.
Sometimes the cheapest placement ends up being the worst value.

I’d compare several marketplaces before committing, especially if you’re buying placements at any real volume. The same site can be priced very differently depending on the seller’s margins and how much inventory they control.

I’d also look beyond the headline metrics. For example, I’d check whether the site has consistent organic traffic, what countries that traffic comes from, whether the pages actually get indexed, how closely the site matches my niche, and whether the outbound links look natural. A $100 placement on a relevant site with real traffic can be far more useful than a $40 placement on a site with inflated metrics.
