If You Lost Everything Today, How Would You Start SEO Again?

Let's say you woke up tomorrow and everything was gone. No websites no domains no backlinks no clients and no tools. The only thing left is what you've learned over the years.

How would you start again?

Would you build a content website first, work on local SEO sell SEO services to make some money or focus on something completely different?

What would be your first priority and what would you ignore this time?

Looking back we all made mistakes when we started. If you had the chance to begin again with the knowledge you have today what would you do differently?

I'm not looking for the perfect answer. I'm more interested in real experiences from people who have been through it. I'd like to know what your first few months would look like if you had to start from zero today.

If I truly started from zero today, I might not start with SEO again; I’d probably build a small SaaS and use my SEO knowledge to grow it organically. These days I see SEO less as the business itself and more as a powerful tool to grow your own product.

I just started making 20 websites, lead generation business type ones withOUT form. Instead of betting on one. Now there's same host ip and other footprints like same registrar though thar is blocked by whois privacy and no google webmaster tools for analytics yet used. Have 5 articles seo on page optimized per site blog. Not even a form yet since I seem to only get spam on them. Emphasizing them picking up the phone. Interlink everything with webinar and commercial pdf option to newsletter. Backlinks I don't like buying so I'll leave that to SEO agency if I hire down the road wholesale pack for $175 or so. It's good practice to make these sites with service and location pages contact about and tos/privacy then blog. Blog is where I put short posts and article pages, humanizing ai content instead of mass imports. Succeeded in one thing, that is blanketing some of my name keywords with links 8/9 1rst page links on one keyword belonging to me. I was going to do 100 though 20 seems to max my Hostinger account for the cost I pay. I see some get 50-100 clicks per site with vendor I used and some clicks to mine too though it varies.

For backlinks I have Linkchest and can order citations. Google business is gold though only have one and its suspended for no reason and have to pay an expert.

if all were to disappear i would be sure to take things in steps nd not try to recreate a full SEO business right away. i would focus on a single niche, disscover what really works, complete some actual projects nd record what works. i would likely skip all the software until then.

If I lost it I would mainly start over and focus on niches and keywords and use backlinks on my website that have high quality rather than loading my website with huge trash link.
