what type of content performs best on facebook?

Short videos (Reels) reign supreme in terms of reach, while images/carousels lead in engagement rates. Absolutely avoid attaching direct links as they are heavily penalized by algorithms.

There is no doubt vvideo performs the best but the real question is what kind of videos ?

Create video which hook your audience from the very first second, provide some value to your audience and your audience also engages with your video actively and regularly.

If you create this type of video then congratulations !! you have cracked the content game on facebook.

short form videos especially gets pushed hardest by the algorithm. The traffic doesn’t really convert that well though.

Videos certainly provide much better results than static images. Of course, always do a/b testing and don't just use one video.

Short videos and engaging images seem to perform best for reach. But the niche matters a lot, so I’d test a mix of formats and see what your audience actually responds to.

I also confirm: Reels get the best results and the fastest results. But I would also say that it depends on the niche. there are some niches that perform well on images rather than niche.

I don't know about everyone else, but I make short videos, tell real stories, and post engaging content. This works for me.

I have seen short videos get good views on Facebook. Simple pictures can also get good comments and likes. I think it depends on the page and the people following it.

If you want raw viral reach, focus on vertical reels I think the algorithm prioritizes recommended video content above everything else right now

Short videos and Reels usually get good engagement on Facebook. Simple posts that give useful information can work well too. What type of content is giving you the best results?
