Do brand searches improve rankings indirectly?

I’ve been noticing that sites with more brand searches seem to perform better in rankings.

Do you think Google indirectly rewards brand awareness and search demand?

Or is it just a correlation and not an actual ranking factor?

Would like to hear real experiences.

Yeah i’ve noticed that too. feels like branded searches act as a trust signal for google, even if it’s not an “official” ranking factor. sites with strong brand demand usually rank easier in my experience, especially after getting mentioned more across socials and forums.

Yes, strong brand searches can indirectly support SEO by increasing trust, recognition, and user engagement.

this is what i have observed too. however i do not think that this should be considered to be an immediate ranking signal for a website. this is bcz a good brand would automatically get more natural linking, mentions nd clicks which would indirectly help in rankking.

Almost certainly, it’s a combination of both - partly correlation and partly a real, but indirect, reward. There is no direct “brand search volume” factor in ranking, at least not among the factors Google has confirmed or that can be seen in the leaked documents. Sites with high branded search demand are almost always large with strong backlink profiles, broad topical coverage, good EEAT signals, media mentions and stable CTR. Google takes all of these factors into account, either directly or indirectly.

is not directly because of the brand but these brand obvious have massive social media presence and more peoples search on google for the brands . These factors will bring better ranking in google offcourse
