I'm stumped. Honestly after 1 year learning the basics here, i finally managed to get my sites at least in page 1 of SERP for keywords like "slot demo" or "demo slot" which is super competitive in this niche. But i can only get to it for like 4 hours. I realized i can get there, but not stay there, anyone got tips for this or is this just the way things are? Please help

That usually happens when Google is still testing your page position.

If the page reaches page 1 for a few hours and then drops, I would check:

Search intent match
Content depth compared to competitors
Internal linking
Backlink quality and relevance
Ranking stability over several weeks

In competitive niches, temporary ranking jumps are quite common before Google decides where the page really belongs.

How many referring domains does the page currently have?
