I am a visual artist working in oils and watercolors for over 10 years and have gotten very good at it and well known locally. I want to reach globally and been a little overwhelmed seeing all the same content from a lot of artists around the world seeking attention of all the same people.

I probably need a mindset shift

but also

wanted to check what do you guys think is genuinely interesting to engage when looking at an artist's profile.

Any thought processes are welcomed.

Often follow people artists because they connect with as much the artwork. I'd share story behind each painting your creative process lessons learned and even failed attempts. I thing your edge is experience not another content trend.

the trend would have less significance; what would count is the presntation of the artist through his work. what would engage the attention of the viewers equally would be the story of the art, its inspiration, all andnd its errors.

I think people connect more with the story behind the work, not just the finished piece showing your process, inspiration, and personality can make your art stand out in a crowded space.

i think people follow artists because of their unique style not just perfect painting and keep sharing your work consistently and let your personality and process show too becuase that helps you to stand out.

hey i think people are more interested in the journey behind the art not just the final piece because sharing your thoughts techniques and what inspires you can make your profile feel more personal and different from others and also always keep showing your unique style and let the people connect with your work.

I prioritize the quality and substance of the content over generic elements; you can captivate an audience through creativity and personal character in each piece. A work with depth has greater longevity and a better chance of success.
