It took around 6-12 months before I started seeing steady, consistent traffic. The biggest difference came from publishing helpful content consistently, targeting search intent and earning a few quality backlinks over time.

i've found that "consistent traffic" usually arrives well after the first rankings.
a lot of sites get excited when they see a few keywords hit page one, but consistent traffic tends to come when the site builds topical depth and starts ranking for hundreds of long-tail searches instead of a handful of primary keywords.
that's why i usually measure progress by the number of quality pages gaining impressions rather than waiting for one article to take off.

In my case, the true turning point came once i started evaluaiting the website not on the basis of its initial 6 months of traffic, but on how i was able to establish a base of valuable content.
What is surprising about all of this is that much of the traffic growth would come not from newer entries, but from older content.
Traffic then becames easier to predict once enough pages worked in harmony.

The timeline was secondary to me for reaching the stage where several of my pages were generating traffic rather than only one article.
The most imporrtant change was identifying low competition topics in the same demographic and then expanding into them.
When my earlier articles started to gain traction, traffic becames much more predictable.
This is typically how the compounding effect results in a blog clicking with people.

For me it took around 4-6 months before traffic became consistent. The biggest improvement came from publishing regularly, updating older posts and improving internal linking instead of only causing new content.
I believe that the timeline is not exactly dependent on the number of months, but rather on the creation of real topical authority. i have seen that many blogs can remained silent for months until they finally get the right amount of related material that can help the growth of the site. It is when the existing pages start generating impriessions and the new content has something to rely on.

It usually takes 6 to 12 months of consistent publishing to build steady traffic, and the biggest game changer is mastering deep around low competition long tail keywords instead of churning out broad, generic content.
I'd Say consistency mattered more than anything else, Regular content, A bit of patience, and a few quality backlinks gradually made the traffic much more Stable.

It will take a long time when you not:
a) know how to write to trigger your audience on your blog and on social media , podcast and video too
b) not know how to make your first-class cms stop creating crawl waste
c) not have a pillar page and not build topical authority on your blog, which is less possible when it sits as subfolder on your site (yes subdomain is a bad idea too)

for me it tool a few months before traffic became consistent. publishing helpful content regularly, improving internal links and being patients made the biggest difference.

When you build from start topical authority on your blog then indexing and ranking will get faster - you not need big pillar pages for this , as seo agencies telling you all over the web.
took around 6-8 months for pure SEO traffic to stop swinging wildly. targeting low competition long tail keywords in the beginning was easily what makes the biggest difference for me.

About 6–8 months. I spent the first few months chasing shortcuts and got nowhere. Once I focused on content quality, search intent and internal linking, traffic became much more consistent. I also got to work on live websites during my training at Mivja, and that probably taught me more than reading blog posts ever did.
Your content and niche matters most.If you have good content then you can get engaged to more traffic within days and if not then it will take long time.
