How Do You Find and Remove Broken Backlinks?

If the broken link page have quality content, traffic and performing keyword of your site then you should fix it by doing redirect

I agree. I'd keep the good backlinks whenever possible and only disavow the ones that are genuinely causing issues. It usually works out much better in the long run.

For me, it depends on the value of the link. Good backlinks are worth preserving, while weaker ones aren't always worth the effort.

I usually keep the valuable ones by fixing the page or using a relevant redirect. If the link isn't relevant or has little value, I'd rather spend time on better opportunities.
 
If they aren't causing real problems like appearing in brand searches then i let them be.
If a backlink points to a page that no longer exists, I either restore the page or create a 301 redirect to the most relevant page on my site so I don't lose the link value.
If it's just a low-quality broken link, I normally ignore it. My focus is on fixing valuable backlinks first.
 
I usually fix them first. If the content exists elsewhere, I restore the page or put a relevant 301 redirect.

If it's an incorrect external link, I let the owner know so they can fix it. I leave alone links that don't have SEO value.

Have you seen better results with restoration of the original page or 301 redirects to relevant pages?

Exactly. Its better to preserve valuable links and focus your time where it has the most impact
 
I usually start by checking Google Search Console and a backlink analysis tool to find links pointing to pages that now return a 404 error. If the page has a good backlink profile, I either restore the original page or create a relevant replacement and add a 301 redirect.

I usually find broken backlinks with Ahrefs or Google Search Console. If a valuable link points to a broken page, I restore the page or set up a relevant 301 redirect instead of simply removing it.
 
I do not fix every broken backlink. I only spend time on the ones that are bringing traffic or have good SEO value.
