Is YouTube still the best platform for building authority?

YouTube is still the strongest platform for building long term authority because it combines search, recommendations, and evergreen content that keeps working for years. However, the best strategy is to use YouTube as your primary authority platform and amplify your reach through LinkedIn, X, podcasts, and newsletters to build credibility and deepen your audience relationship.

so far the efforts that continue to bring in leads is still youtube or SEO. the others usually die down quickly. i think people go to youtube expecting to spend alot more time there rather than a quick entertaining video to pass 5 mins of time
 
I think YouTube is still one of the strongest platforms because people can see your knowledge and personality. It builds more trust than just text.

have you actualy tested this yourself or is it more based on what you've seen form other people's results? cause i feel like it probably depends alot on the niche — like does this apply to every industry or mostly corporate/professional stuff?
 
It depends on the niche. YouTube is great for deep content, while LinkedIn and newsletters can work better for professional audiences.
 
SInce youtube iss easily accessable , it beats all the other platform for any type of learning. SO, without any doubt yoututbe is the strongest platform. But your content and relatibility to your audience plays bigger part in order to become niche in any domain
 
YouTube still seems valuable for long term growth. Has anyone had better results with short form platforms?
 
I still think YouTube is one of the best platforms for building authority because people can see and hear you, which helps build trust over time. It does take longer than short form platforms but the content can keep bringing in views for months or even years.
 
it depends on niche and quality of your content. but i think other social media platforms are better than youtube for building authority
 
I think there are still better platforms than YouTube for building credibility, such as LinkedIn, Facebook, or TikTok. YouTube is still primarily an entertainment-focused platform.
 
youtube is great with nearly zero costs + it's google owned so it helps with seo , also the format of a video is much easier to digest then reading giant blob of text
