A small improvement which had huge impact was to start thinking about what would make someone continue to watch rather than only about how to make the video itself. It is much more helpful to improve the begiinning, remove any boring moments and fulfill the expectations set by the title or thumbnail than to create amazing content.

For me, the most obvious improvement happened when I started focusing on where people were falling off in my YT analytics instead of relying on guesses. each new video accounted for a problem that the previous one had had, such as speed or extraneous content. the little changes made more of an impact than weekly thumbnail changes.

Stopping the practice of cramming too much information into one video was one of those things that worked too good for me. concentrating only on one specific issue helped make my videos more understanndable for the viewer, who was more willing to watch the video untill the end and write feedback.

for me it was preparing two completely different thumbnail and title angles before uploading. if the CTR is under 3% in the first two hours, i swap them out immediately. saved so many videos that would have been dead on arrival otherwise. simple workflow tweak but it keeps the algorithm testing the video.

YouTube growth usually doesn't come from one big change. It's the result of making small improvements consistently. The biggest impact for me has been refining titles and thumbnails, checking the data after each change, and staying consistent with uploads. Over time, YouTube gets more signals and does a better job of finding the right audience. Small optimizations add up much more than constantly changing your entire strategy.
