Why do I keep getting restricted by Instagram?

Since Instagram keeps removing the restriction after review it looks like a false positive I'd just slow down your actions a bit and avoid doing follows comments likes and DMs too close together

A more natural activity pattern usually reduces the chances of getting flagged
Use reels daily and DM system the legal way, then IG not ban you.

Smells like a false flag or a straight-up set up, especially with that instant review approval. Just so you know, viewing or liking Stories won't get your accounts flagged. For now, cool down your pace, spread out your actions to bypass any rate limits, and keep pressing support to find out what actually triggered the flag.

This has happened twice in a week now.

Instagram gives me a restriction on my account status from sending messages for a month. I request a review and the restriction immediately gets lifted with Instagram saying “our technology made a mistake”.

My profile is very old.

So I only use one account, home WiFi and 5g, no automation or proxies, manual follow unfollow.

My actions include around 25 follows per day, comment on 12-15 of them, 19-20 unfollows, DMing only those people who follow back or reply to my comments.

DMs are varied not same. Only 1 DM at a time and no links.

How many comments, follows and likes is safe to do at once?

Can watching and liking someone’s story along with follow and comment put me at more risk?
If you are getting restricted by instagram, then maybe you are under their review for any type of unusual mistake. This often happens.

You’re cold sending, it’s not surprising that you’re getting flagged. You need to rotate accounts when cold sending to not trigger their algorithm.

If Instagram keeps removing the restriction after review it s probably a false flag I'd reduce the follow unfollow activity for a few days and spread interactions out more naturally instead of worrying about exact limits

IG's AI has been a little overprotective lately

Your numbers don't look crazy, but stacking follow + comment + story like + DM on the same person can look automated.

You're getting flagged because clustering actions in one go mimics spam bot behavior, the safe limit is a maximum of 3-5 actions per session, spaced 5-10 minutes apart and spread evenly across the day.

You should change the way you use the platform compared to before. That includes changing your IP address and the device you use. It's possible that your previous account was flagged for a serious violation, and now any new account associated with the same device or IP is being detected and blocked.

I do not think following, liking, commenting, or watching stories is a problem by itself. It may be more about how quickly you do all these actions together.

it sounds like Instagram is flagging your activity patterns rather than the individual actions themselves I'd slow things down spread interactions throughout the day and avoid doing the same sequence follow comment DM repeatedly even if everything is done manually

Story views and likes are usually fine, but doing everything at onee can still look spammy.

I recommend giving your account a 48-hour break to clear your alert history, then spreading out your interactions throughout the day, and absolutely avoiding a series of consecutive Follow, Comment, and Like actions on the same account.

Slowly build your followers then instagram not restricted your acoount from my thinking

Because your account was "wrongfully banned" twice in a row this week, it may be under system scrutiny. Over the next 3-5 days, reduce your workload by half to allow the account to "cool down." Your account is an old and reputable one, so it should be fine.

The instant review approval is the part that stands out to me. If it was a real violation, I’d expect it to stay restricted. Makes me think something is tripping an automated check over and over.

If you act normal like a real persons without a dozen of follow/unfollow and likes you can keep the account safe.....
