Actually, that make sense. It seems like diversification is becoming more important now instead of relying on a single income source. In your experience, which of thsoe monetization methods has been the most consistent lately, espcecially for newer blogs that are still building traffic?
I agree. It seems much harder to rely on a single traffic source now. Building an audience across multiple channels not only helps with traffic but also reduces the risk of being affected by algorithm updates. Have you found any particular channel working especially well for promoting blog content lately?
Blogging still remains a good concept but the way of doing it has changed a bit. Posting lots of simple posts will not suffice nowadays. The websites which make it to the top have built their reputation in their niche by regullarly updating their website. Having more than one channel for Traffic generation, for instance search and email, becomes an added advantage.
I believe that blogging is still a worthy actiivity although just as long as u keep on improving the quality. Social media will allow for getting fast traffic while blogging will continue to bring in new visitors gradualy. For me blogging is still a good strategy.
blogging still works, but the strategy has evolved. Broad keyword based content has become increiasingly difficult to succeed with, while niches, experience, and audience building through quality content still deliver good results. It is the individuals that consider blogging a long term investment that succeedd in the process.

There is lot of competition now. You cannot survive with small budget. Now there are big teams behind popular blogs.
