Hi everyone,

I have been learning more about blogging recently, and I am curious about how people view it in 2026. With AI content, social media, YouTube, and short-form videos becoming more popular, I'm wondering whether blogging is still a worthwhile long-term strategy.

Are blogs still bringing consistent traffic and income for you, or have you shifted your focus to other platforms? I would like to hear what's actually working for people right now and how blogging fits into your overall marketing strategy.

Blogging is still bringing consistent traffic for me, especially when combined with SEO and long-form guides. Short-form content drives attention, but blogs help with long-term authority.

Blogs are perceived as a source of in-depth, structured content that addresses specific audience needs. Unlike short-form formats (such as Reels or Shorts), they allow for a comprehensive exploration of a topic, providing checklists, guides, and other materials designed to nurture audience engagement. At the same time, there is a growing demand for authenticity: readers value personal experience, real-world case studies, and sincerity—rather than a "picture-perfect" facade.

AI-generated content, conversely, is often perceived as impersonal and derivative. Research indicates that audiences are less likely to remember—or place their trust in—materials that have been entirely generated by neural networks. Consequently, successful blogs strike a balance between leveraging AI capabilities (for routine tasks such as drafting and format adaptation) and ensuring human involvement in the final editing process.

for me, blogging still pays off for affiliate income and evergreen topics. most of my audience finds me first on social media or you tube, then ends up on the blog for deep content.

I think blogging is still worth it, especially if you're playing the long game. Social media can bring faster results, but a good blog can keep bringing traffic for years if the content is useful.

Blogging is definitely worthwhile and you can make a good side income with it. The best converting blogs use Affiliate marketing , Google adsense and sponsored posts to monetize and you can earn well enough even with 1 method from those 3.

Yes, blogging is still a strong business model in 2026 if you focus on SEO, niche authority, and multiple income streams like ads, affiliates, and digital products.

yes, blogging is still best business in 2026, especially for those who unterstand seo. share your blog on social media and publish high quality content. it can be great long term business.

In my experience, yes. You just need to write high-quality articles that Google actually picks up on, and then they’ll still rank well.

Yes, it's a good model, but AI has almost killed blog traffic now; your site really needs to be very good and niche to get traffic.

yeah blogging still works in 2026, but it’s not “just write posts and rank” anymore, people who still win usually treat it like a real brand + do SEO + social together (not only google traffic) if you rely only on blogging alone it feels slow, but as part of a bigger system it still makes solid money

I think blogging is still a good business model in 2026 but it has changed a lot Quality content SEO and building trust matter more than ever Many people now combine blogs with social media email marketing and videos for better long term growth

I am still new to blogging, but I don't think it is dead. A lot of people still use Google to find answers, and good blog posts can keep bringing traffic for a long time.

Yes, blogging still brings consistent traffic because people still search for structured, step-by-step info that short video and social media feeds cannot thoroughly explain.

I think blogging is still a good business model in 2026, but it is definitely more competitive than it used to be. simply publishing lots of content is not enough anymore. that blogs that seem to do well are the ones that provide real value.

Success today means avoiding generic AI-generated fluff and focusing on deep, human-driven niche expertise, original case studies, and building a direct email list you own.

Yes, definitely blogging is still worth it, but the old tactics like keyword stuffing, random backlinks are dead. The shift right Now is that along with the google we have to optimize for LLMs(AI overviews, ChatGpt, Claude). To get traffic you should highly focus on the Semantic writing. Also, try to inject some real product or tool into the Article, and also do the posting on the social media

Yes, I think blogging is stronger when combined with you tube, email lists or social traffic. relying only on google traffic feels riskier now.

Blogging is still valuable in 2026, but it works best as part of a bigger strategy. Good blog content can still bring steady search traffic and income over time, especially for evergreen topics. However, I also use social media, email, and short videos to promote content and reach new audiences. Blogging is not dead, but relying only on organic traffic is much harder than before. Combining multiple channels seems to give the best long-term results.
