Why do some pages stuck even after crawling ?

Yes, site level trust and authority definitely play a role.

Google crawls most pages, but indexing depends on how much value it sees in the page, along with your site's overall quality signals. Search demand can also influence how quickly a page gets indexed, especially for trending or high-intent topics.

If a page stays unindexed for a long time, you should review the content quality, uniqueness, and overall E-E-A-T signals.

Crawling and indexing are separate processes. A page can be crawled quickly but indexed later if google doesn't see enough value yet. Site trust, content quality, uniqueness, internal linking, and search demand all influence how fast a page gets indexed.

Google prioritizes some pages over others, even when the technical setup is exactly the same.

I am noticing a pattern in indexing. Some URLs are picked and indexed within hours but other pages even with proper structure, internal links and crawl activity are get crawled but not indexed for days or weeks.
Crawl happens but indexing does not takes place in a predictable way.

Is this based on site level trust or is google treating indexing differently depending on its query demand and conetnt type ?
If the page has generic content it is harder to index. That's because Google wants good content quality before indexing a page.
