Yes blogging is still worth it in 2026 it builds long term traffic authority and search visibility social platforms bring quick attention but content fades fast blogs stay discoverable for years best strategy is using both for growth and consistent audience building

If you’re into niche topics or stuff that needs a bit more explaining than a 30-second clip, a blog really gives you room to shine. Repurposing posts for socials sometimes gives both spots a little bump, like hitting two birds with one stone.

I do not think blogging is going anywhere, it is just serving a different purpose now. TikTok and Instagram r great for grabbing attention quicklly but that attention can be fleeting. A good blog post can keep bringing in visitors for months or years to come. I think of social media as a way to pull a crowd and blogging as a way to drive long term traffic and build credibility. And I think the best way to use both of them is togetther.
 
It has become very difficult to write blogs now compared to how things were a few years back, but then again, I would not want to say that blog writing is dead. Social media and blogging are different bcz blogging involves more time when it comes to gaining traffic and having SEO while social media brings people fast. What is different about the blogging process?
