Verified email list to hit inbox (cold email)

Hi Guys,


I have a list of 1500 emails verified that I need to send once as cold emails, but I’m facing big issues as I tried sending the list with mailgun connected with GMass (records setted up perfectly) and I was blocked because I was limited to 100 emails an hour, on those 100 emails I only got an open rate of 15%,

The niche of cold emails is sending investment proposals

I just need to send once to this list with one follow up to people that didn’t reply, but I need at least an inbox rate above 95%,


I don’t know how I can do, I’ve tried many different ways to hit inbox, but none we’re succesful, if a freelancer can find a way for me to hit my goals, and it needs to be on the domains I own, I’m happy to discuss it.

The point is that email rules have made it difficult to cold spam email. They are supposed to be optin in a mail provider, and from there, you'll have no problem sending and inboxing. I use Brevo. Its pretty cheap, easy and good.

Blackhat methods won't help you with the inbox. But with a proper warm-up, you can achieve a better inbox rate. As you mentioned, cold mailing so doesn't go with any brand companies cause sooner or later you will end up losing the account.

Get your own sender with proper AI warmup they are many around us now.

Perhaps you should review your text for trigger words, such as "profit, free, guaranteed"

Mailgun is the problem. They have shared SMTP which violates the term of cold email.

You will need google workspace inboxes on your own domains with proper SPF/DKIM/DMARC and 3-4 weeks of warmup. After completing warmup you can send 20-30 emails from each inbox.

did you try warming up your domain before sending the 1500 emails to improve the inbox rate?

Black-hat methods won't solve this and will likely hurt your sender reputation even more.

A better approach would be to warm up your domain and IP using Mailgun or SendGrid for a few weeks before launching the campaign.
If you're okay with sending through Gmail, another option is to use GMass with 8–10 properly warmed-up Gmail accounts to distribute the volume.
That said, I strongly recommend the first approach, as it's more reliable and provides better long-term inbox placement.

Cold email marketing has changed. Nowaday, the key is deliverability and reputation, not any clever trick. you will require permisioned inboxes and proper mailing frequency control. no bulk email and shared SMTP servers for you to achieve even close to a 95% inbox delivery rate.

besides comment farmers above I can give you a real advice: If you only want to send once or twice and then do your other things, DON'T start with warming up domains for 2-4 weeks or make 100 emails and send 20-30 emails each.

FIRST, you need to understand that an open rate of 15% is GOOD, and this shows that emails landed in inbox, but the list is not very active. Because if it lands in spam folder you won't get more than 3,5%-4% open rate in few days.

Now what you could do:

- You need either to pay someone to do this for you in 10 minutes from warmed smtp or even services like mailchimp (and it will be way cheaper than buying emails, farming them, or buying domains + servers and farming them, and it won't take 2-4 weeks for 1,500 emails lol). Just be careful with scammers.

- Continue doing it yourself with warming up mail boxes/domains/ips and etc, but be ready to spend time, nerves and money.

The "Blackhat" methods you asked for are non existent. (maybe only if via a botnet or stolen smtps, but those people will ask for a lot of money and they are not on this forum I guess, and it's illegal. It's not worthed the results you can get).
