I've had an idea recently, to open a women's only targeted business. Is this a good idea? What are some concerns I should be aware of?

Sorry, I meant any criticisms or expenses I should take into consideration. I should have specified it would be a women's only bar/cafe. I am concerned with the criticisms which might be difficult to solve

What country are you in? There may be antidiscrimination laws to consider. Nothing insurmountable, but a simple "no males allowed" sign likely isn't going to cut it.

Doesn't sound like a great idea.It won't attract anyone outside of radical feminists. Making it 'women-friendly' instead would be better.

Well, what you have to consider, is what an average bill might be from women. Ive heard some story about "women only" restaurant and it burned quickly, because turns out, women dont want to pay much by themselves.

Could work if the niche solves a real problem and not just because it is women only. I would validate demand first and check any local rules around gender specific services. The positioning matters more than the label itself.

I was going to suggest pink decor and ponies should put most men off, but when you see some of the memes on reddit, you'd probably attract also overweight reddit mods by the looks of it! lol
As for @Beginner_Entrepreneur this idea is beyond you, in terms of startup quality. Its only people WITH money that buy commercial income producing real estate. They wouldn't be seen asking for help to make a decision, they would plan, and have made all the right key performance indicators that are essential to profit.
What homework have you done for this idea? Do you know how long this type of business would take to make X profit? Can you afford the months rental from your sweat equity, or where? What about commercial insurance? Do you have any idea about this?
It’s an okay idea, considering that most women are lonely—though a café/bar might not be the best angle; well, it depends on the age group you're targeting.
