Do Hashtags still matter on TikTok?

In my opinion, hashtags are still very important when optimizing videos on TikTok. They can help increase a video's reach and improve its chances of being discovered by the right audience.

Hashtags simply help the algorithm push your video to the right people.

A good video can perform well even without replying heavily on hashtags. But nowadays content quality retention and engagement seem to matter more. I think hashtags still play a role mainly for helping TikTok understand the content and reach the right audience.

All of the videos on my TikTok channel include hashtags. Based on my experience, they consistently receive more views and achieve better reach than videos without hashtags.

From what I've seen hashtags still help with content discovery but they aren't the main factor anymore A strong hook good watch time and audience engagement seem to have a much bigger impact I still use a few relevant hashtags instead of adding too many

From my recent tes, strong videos outperform hashtag tricks. I still use a few relevant hashtags, but watch time and shares seem to influence reach tsmuch more.
I think hashtags still matter,But the importance of this now declining. If your content is strong enough and have more watch time, then it will work with less hashtags.

Hashtags used to help a lot, but now they feel less powerful. I get better reach when the post itself performs well, even with few or no hashtags.

of course, it use to category your content to find to right audience for u bro so u should add hastag with the right cate to boost your account?

Hi everyone,

Have hashtags made a noticeable difference in your reach recently or do you think content quality matters more ?
hashtags for me are more of an added advantage than a growth method. a hashtag that is aplicable in my case may be helpfful in making the post visiible but i have experienced cases where my posts do well without hashtags while those with all hashtags fail.

I'd vote for content quality.
Hashtags can add a little extra visibility, but they won't save a weak post. A useful post with a strong opening and genuine engagement usually beats the "perfect" hashtag strategy.

in my experience content quality and audience engagement have a much bigger impact than hashtags

i still use a few relevant hashtags but i don't rely on them for reach anymore.

In my experience, content quality matters more. Relevant hashtags can help with discoverability but engaging videos with a strong hook and good watch time tend to perform much better on TikTok.
