Hello! I have a question about PBN guest posts (blog posts). Is it still viable to use them if they are flagged as spam on Ahrefs? I know Ahrefs isn't Google, but many people say that if a site looks bad to Ahrefs, it likely looks bad to Google too. What are your thoughts?

Ahrefs is a useful reference but it's not the final word if a site has real content and a natural backlink profile i wouldn't dismiss it based on one metric

For me topical relevance and overall site quality matter more than a single score if something looks neglected or overloaded with outbound links i usually skip it

ahrefs spam flags and google's actual spam detection don't fully overlap, but if it's obviously bad to a tool it's probably obviously bad period

It';s an indicator but not reality.
Spam scores in general are the most inaccurate out there.

What you need to do is check for search engines perceive the site.
At the very least, PBN unit should rank for it's own domain name as a whole.

Just insert domain.com and hit search.
Is it #1 or close? Than search engines probably like it.

Sites hit with serious filters/penalties can't even rank for their own name, while still being indexed. Giving impression that all is good.

This is advanced check:
