Is Myspace still a viable platform for driving traffic or making money in 2026?

Traffic from Myspace seems very limited now. Most people have moved to newer platforms, so it is harder to get consistent results. It might still work for niche audiences, but probably not the best place to focus in 2026.

Not sure how effective Myspace is for traffic anymore. Most activity seems pretty limited compared to other platforms. It might still work for niche audiences, but I'd probably treat it as a secondary source rather than a main strategy.

If you're starting out as a musician etc. Myspace is a placeholder.
They claim the site gets 2 million+ visitors a month but come on lol.

I would be curious to see where they traffic is stemming from.

Honestly, have not seen much value from Myspace lately. Most traffic and monetization seem to come from more active platforms now. Might not be worth focusing on in 2026.

Honestly, Myspace is more “nostalgia” than a real traffic source at this point .
I haven’t seen anyone consistently monetizing it — the volumes are just too small. Even if there is something, it’s more micro-traffic without any real scale.
If you’re looking for alternatives in native/niche traffic, something like MGID gives much more predictable volumes and at least real room to optimize for ROI

I’m curious if anyone is still using Myspace for traffic or monetization and what strategies are actually working today on this platform.
It's hard to take MySpace as a serious platform for traffic or monetization. Better use your efforts elsewhere

Only makes sense for music or old-school branding. For real traffic, it’s pretty much dead

Honestly, I rarely hear Myspace mentioned in marketing discussions anymore. As far as traffic and monetization go, it doesn't seem to be a meaningful source compared to platforms like YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Reddit, Pinterest, or even Quora. That doesn't mean nobody is using it, but I'd be surprised if many marketers were generating significant traffic or revenue from it in 2026.

No
It's good for nostalgia and you can have a lot of fun if you manage to convince your friends / family to join but that's all about it.

I experimented with several campaigns to generate traffic from MySpace, but most of them didn't produce good results.

In my experience, it is not really a strong platform for monetization anymore, compared to modern social media.

I tried old platforms like this before. They can send a few clicks, but nothing I’d call a real monetization channel.

Myspace is dead and a complete waste of time.

It should be noted that Myspace has died off for any sort of organic traffic and monetization by 2026 almost zero active user base exists. Traffic coming to Myspace would be mostly recycled or through bots, so there’s really no reason to try and create a strategy based off of this platform

I haven't seen many marketers talk about Myspace in recent years Most traffic and monetization opportunities seem to be on newer platforms but I'm curious if anyone here is still getting results from it in a specific niche
