Hi,
I want to learn new skills of SEO, so, I want to know that on which skills I should invest my time. Which skills will be mostly matters in next 2 years? Can anyone guide me for that.

Over the next 2 years, I'd focus on AI-powered SEO, topical authority, programmatic SEO and content strategy rather than just backlinks. Learn how to use AI tools for content research, understand search intent and improve technical SEO skills like site speed and indexing. Data analysis with Google Search Console and automation will also become increasingly valuable. The people who combine SEO with AI and analytics will have the biggest advantage.

Not giving up in a month is one of them for sure. So I'd say perseverance lol

Over the next two years, keep your attention on Technical SEO, Programmatic SEO , AI assisted content creation, data analysis, and content strategy. Search engines seem to be rewarding sites that have solid technical setup, real topical authority, and good quality content, not only one of those. If you spend time with learning tools like Google Search Console, Google Analytics, basic Python, and AI workflows you will get a big advantage. In case your time is limited, run with Technical SEO, Programmatic SEO, and an AI powered content strategy first, because these areas are expected to create the biggest impact on overall SEO success.

technical seo - visibility - data driven content

honestly just focus on ai. get your seo basics clear first, use ai for all the heavy lifting, but always make sure to give it a human review at the end tbh.

Focus on AI SEO while polishing your basic SEO skills.

AI will be a beast within 2 years. So, I'd say AI SEO or GEO or whatever you wish to call it.

Seo skill.
Hmm everything automated without the intervention of any human editing. Hehe. I am Joking.
The seo thing will remain as it is and rankings will still depend on high quality manually written content

Getting guest posts and niche edits because these are an art in themselves.

If you're thinking long term, I'd invest less time chasing SEO tricks and more time understanding how search engines evaluate content quality and user satisfaction. Technical SEO is worth learning, but I'd put a strong focus on content planning, entity-based SEO, topical authority, and data analysis.

Another skill that will be valuable over the next couple of years is learning how to use AI tools efficiently without sacrificing content quality. The people who can combine SEO knowledge, automation, and strong research skills will have a significant advantage.

The future belongs to automation. Master programmatic seo and ai scaling. Focus on technical indexing, smart data analysis and deep topical authority.

i'd focus on topical authority, content optimization, and data analysis.
the people getting results today are usually strong at connecting those skills together.
seo is becoming less about tricks and more about understanding audiences.

Information gain and user intent optimization will matter most. With AI content flooding search engines the real skill is creating unique data first hand case studies, and structured internal linking that bots can easily parse Focus on building real topical authority. :)

If I were starting today, I’d focus on keyword research, content writing, on-page SEO, technical SEO basics, and understanding search intent. Learning how to use AI tools effectively is also becoming important. SEO keeps changing, but people who understand content quality and user experience will always have an advantage.

Learn local seo and map packs.
Traditional blue links are going away.

I’d say the biggest skill is learning how to diagnose why a page isn’t performing. AI, content, and technical SEO all matter, but the people who can look at a page and quickly tell whether the issue is internal linking, crawl/indexing, or authority will be ahead.

Tools change fast. The ability to read the problem is what lasts.

If i had a choice to start from scratch, I would choose AI SEO, so according to me, you should focus on AI SEO and AEO
