Is anyone else struggling to get traffic even after publishing regularly?

I have been posting blog content consistently from a while now, but the traffic growth is much slower than I expected. Is anyone else facing the same issue, and what made the biggest difference for you in getting your first steady visitors?

That’s pretty common especially with newer blogs. For me things started improving when I focused more on topics people were actively searching for rather than just publishing more content
 
Yes,That is pretty common, especially for newer blogs. Traffic growth is usually slower at the beginning than most people expect. difference for me was focusing low competition what people were searching for.
 
One thing I have found that works is to attach the blog to some free tool, for example let's say you are in the solar energy sector, you can atttach a free calculator, or some other tool so it brings in free traffic. Such things are great at driving traffic
 
imo "biggest breakthrough" comes from finding topics with clear search demand and promoting content beyond Google rather than just publishing and hoping traffic shows up
 
Yeah, this is pretty common consistency alone doesn’t guarantee traffic anymore. The biggest difference usually comes from targeting specific search intent keywords (not broad topics) and improving internal linking + on-page SEO so Google actually understands and ranks the pages.
 
This is what we are all facing now because of Google's new AI response.
 
I went through the exact same thing for months. What changed the game was writing fewer posts but making them much more detailed and helpful.
 
Same here, traffic was slow at first. What helped me most was targeting low competition keywords and updating older posts reguarly.
 
I think a lot of people run into this. Publishing consistently is important but traffic usually started improving for me when i focused more on topic selection and search intent rather than just posting more content. A few well targeted articles often outperform dozens of random ones.
 
I feel you - blogging sometimes feels like yelling into the void. For me, zeroing in on what folks are googling right now made a huge difference. I use free tools like Google Search Console or Answer the Public to spot what people actually want. Also, beefing up one or two social channels instead of trying to be everywhere took a load off and brought more eyes to my posts.

Being consistent with publication alone is not enough. I realized that traffic started flowing through my efforts to understand the reasons behind search behavior and optimiziation of previous posts rather than creation of new ones. One single optimized post can be worth more than 10 posts on its own.

That's pretty common. It takes time before things start moving, updating older content and targeting easier keywords can help too.
 
Use tending topics and post own content also do seo on each post
 
You are definitely not alone. Publishing regularly is important but it does not always lead to traffic by itself. Targeting lower competition keywords, improving internal linking and updating older content made a much bigger difference for me.
