What did you study?

I liked chemistry and physics, but also sports. I participated in and completed a full marathon. I played football in the second division. Now I work with robots, partly programming and partly setting them up..

I started with a degree in network engineering.

• Year 1 - Novel Netware 5 (when Novel finally made the move from IPX/SPX over to TCP/IP as default transfer protocol.
• Year 2 - Microsoft MCSE on Windows 2000 Server. Thanks Bill!

I studies aviation engineering and worked in the industry for 7 years. It was interesting, but limited and there were night shifts, unpredictable schedule and all of that hurt my mental health + my social life.

In my high school years I've done some programming and programming competitions, but back then I didn't want to work that. While I worked in aviation though, I had a lot of free time on my night shifts and also could see I have no diversification. Meaning - if I get fired from this job for some reason, it would be very hard to find a new good job with the skill and experience I had. Just because in my country it is the only place of such kind - full flight simualtors for pilot training.

So I decided to go through some programming courses in my free time.

So after 7 years in the aviation industry and after COVID, a friend of mine with a software company came to me and asked me if I'd like to work part time with them and I was up to it. So for 1 year I worked 2 jobs - lead engineer for the flight simulators and a software developer.

Then, after an year, I decided to go full time programming, so I left my old job and just then I realized how much I was losing there.

I am still working as a software engineer, but got into SEO about an year ago, because of some podcasts of Kalin Karakehayov from Seo Domains. He made it seem very simple and kind of a easy scalable money. It is not exactly that for me, but it did spark my interest and I also love to try new things and use different hacks etc. So it works well for my type of characters.

So now I'm trying to scale a Local SEO agency. The ranking itself is easy, but finding clients is hard for me, so this is my current obsticle.

Interesting how many people end up in SEO from completely different backgrounds.
i think skills like research creativity and problem-solving can take you into unexpected fields.
Sometimes the career path changes but the experience from your original field still helps.

I did a culinary course. I always had a passion for cooking, but things didn’t go as planned, and I switched to SEO. (I know it’s an odd path, but I don’t even remember how I ended up making this choice )

I am lucky that i am in the same field which i am interested in , i created my first website (very basic HTML) when i was 13 years of age .
and now i am a professional website developer .

By the way i did software engineer (but i am not doing much coding right now) .

I have professional licenses in teaching and real estate appraisal/brokerage, but I’m considering taking up law next year (for prestige haha )
