Seo content strategy for affiliate marketing websites

I’ve been working on an affiliate site lately and noticed that random product posts don’t seem to rank as easily anymore. Sites with deeper content and better structure appear to perform much better long term. I’m trying to figure out what kind of SEO content strategy actually works now for affiliate marketing sites.

Are you guys focusing more on topic clusters, comparison content, informational posts, or something else?

Topic clusters are working now for affiliate sites. A good mix of informational content, comparison posts, and best of lists with strong internal linking is working fine.

I'm also seeing that Google still prefer rewarding affiliate sites that actually provide depth and useful information around the niche. Good brand mentions and a few strong backlinks still push rankings well.
 
These days affiliate websites perform better when they cover topic deeply instead of posting random product articles, I see better results with comparison posts helpful guides and informational content together Google seems to trust websites more when they provide real value and complete niche coverage

We’re seeing the same thing in gambling SEO

Simple “review + bonus” pages don’t rank like before unless the site has strong topical coverage and supporting informational content around the main keywords

Comparison pages + intent-based articles seem to perform much better long-term now
 
Google has changed its approach for affiliate sites, or for every other website also. It now evaluates the journey of your website. Rather than supporting website that are publishing isolated review articles google is now giving preference to websites where user gets informational content then after comparisons took buying decision.

for affiliate sites focusing on search intent and helpful content seems to work really well...comparison articles honest reviews and problem solving guides usually attract better traffic....building topical authority around one niche also helps rankings grow faster..
 
Topic clusters and comparison posts work way better now than random review articles. Google wants deeper coverage around one niche not scattered affiliate pages

Info content still important because it builds trust and internal link power for money pages
 
i've moved away from creating only review and product-focused content.
building supporting informational articles around the niche has produced better long-term results. the site feels more authoritative and rankings tend to be more stable

Me , personally seen better results from building topic clusters instead of posting random product articles. informational content buying guides and comparison posts help build trust and support rankings. a well structured site with useful content usually performs better over the long term.

Yeah, I’ve noticed the same. Random product posts don’t really hold up anymore. What seems to work better is building around a topic with a mix of informational posts, comparisons, and reviews, all internally linked together. Topic clusters definitely seem to help with long-term rankings.
 
Personally, I'd focus on topic clusters first. Random affiliate posts feel a lot harder to rank these days
 
Interesting point. Random review posts have pretty hit or miss lately, while groups of related articles seem to get picked up faster. One thing I noticed is that comparison pages started pulling most of the affiliate clicks, but the supporting informational content helped them gain traction.
