What is the cheapest web server to host 100 one-product stores?

that’s an interesting setup are you thinking 100 separate domains, or more like subdomains? i’m kinda curious too what the cheapest way to host that would be. maybe something like a VPS and just run them all under one server config? anyone tried something like that at scale on the cheap?

full cheap setup will be, contabo vps that will cost you $5.80 and cheap cpanel will cost you $5 , if you use free vps panels (aapanel, cloudpanel etc) than it will only cost vps.

Just settle for a reliable host that charges a reasonably high rate and offers good service. Believe VPS will work fine for running store, check out GTHost.com and Digitalcloud.pro vps hosting packages. Their Professionals are able to customize any services/features you may need. Good luck!

Are these static pages or woocommerce? if they are just basic html landers with a stripe button, just use cloudflare pages. it is completely free and you wont have to manage any servers.
if you actually need wordpress for 100 stores, cheap vps is the only way but avoid contabo. their disk io is awful these days and the server will crawl when you try to update plugins. i tried a similar setup last year on contabo and it was a headache. better off getting a cheap hetzner vps or something from lowendtalk like @cloudygirl mentioned, then install cloudpanel. it is free, lightweight, and handles multiple sites way better than cpanel.

but if you are running woocommerce, 100 stores on a cheap $5 vps is going to crawl or just crash constantly. i tried running about 40 wp sites on a cheap contabo vps a while back and the database lag was unusable. if you absolutely need wordpress, grab a decent hetzner vps or check lowendtalk for a provider with nvme storage, then install cloudpanel or aapanel. keep the plugins to a bare minimum or you will regret it.

I'm not sure if absolutely cheapest anything can ever have any sort of quality at all.
Even if the pages were static with no serious traffic, they should still stay up, they should still load fast.
So for anything that should actually make money - I'd stay away from absolutely cheapest - one gets what he pays for.
