Hi, im media buyer.
Not long ago, I started thinking about creating a website or blog to drive organic traffic to my gray-hat advertising services on Meta. This raises the question of whether it’s worth spending time on this, and where I should start, given that I know absolutely nothing about SEO.

Thanks for any advice and recommendations!

Depends on your niche. If you have a grey hat product or service maybe it would be better for you to only market it as whitehat. Also, in my opinion , whitehat SEO is more stable but less profitable on the long term, whereas you can make quick bucks with blackhat techniques but you risk your accounts and advertisments on meta getting banned quickly.

If you are starting from zero in SEO, I will keep it simple at first don’t overthink building a complex blog right away. Focus on a clean site with a few well-targeted pages around your service and the kind of clients you want to attract.

If we’re talking about Facebook and Meta accounts, I’m already used to bans and all that — I have my own account farming system and workflow, so that’s the least of my concerns. What interests me more is how to structure a site so it can contain grayhat-related content without Google stopping its indexing or limiting its visibility somehow.

I work with niches like webcam, escort, OnlyFans, health, gambling, and many others.

Yes, it can definitely be worth it long term, especially if you want free traffic instead of relying only on paid ads. Since you're new to SEO, start simple: pick one niche, create helpful articles around common problems and learn basic keyword research first. Don't expect fast results though - SEO usually takes a few months before traffic starts growing.

Yeah, I understand. I’m not planning to build a heavily loaded website with a big blog and all that. The main focus of the site is generating leads. There will definitely be a portfolio, and I was also thinking about adding a few niche-related articles.

Thanks for response!✨

You should do it a simple blog can help bring organic clients over time just start with basic SEO and share useful content from your own experience you will learn more as you go.

used to work in the search vertical and mainly worked with keywords, so I think that could help somehow. I’ve used tools like Google Keyword Planner, Semrush, and similar ones. I’m not expecting fast results — I remember it usually takes around 3 to 6 months to see the first results. I just think it makes sense to start doing it now so I don’t waste time later. Thanks for the advice, very informative!
