Weekend traffic killing my PPC performance

Hi everyone, I’m new here and still learning PPC, so I might be missing something basic. I’ve noticed my campaigns do well on weekdays, but on weekends I get clicks with almost no conversions. Not sure if it’s low intent traffic or an issue with my targeting. Has anyone else faced this and how do you handle it?

Yeah this is actually pretty common, especially depending on the niche you’re in.

Some verticals just naturally drop off on weekends — anything related to work tools, B2B services, SaaS, or productivity tends to perform worse because people simply aren’t in “work mode.” You’ll still get clicks, but the intent is usually lower, which explains the drop in conversions.

Weekdays = people actively solving problems
Weekends = more browsing, less buying (for those niches)

On the flip side, niches like ecom, entertainment, or hobbies often do better on weekends.

Look for traffic best engagement times. Indeed it is one of the aspect. you need to optimize campaign which will get you best roi at best time as possible. time do matters. Night and day users have different preference just like free time or busy time

weekend traffic usually isn’t “bad”, it’s just different behavior. a lot of campaigns keep identical bids, creatives and funnels across weekdays/weekends and then wonder why performance shifts.

intent changes massively depending on time context. same user behaves differently on monday morning vs saturday night.

Thats pretty common actually

Before changing anything, check the data by day of week. I’ve had campaigns where weekends were 50% worse than weekdays for months
If that’s what the numbers show, just lower bids on weekends or pause them completely
A lot of B2B and lead gen offers perform terribly on weekends because people browse but don’t make decisions
 
this is mostly common just use ad scheduling to lower your bids or pause your campaigns entirely on weakends.
