Google completely devalues links from dead PBNs or public guest post networks that exist solely to sell placements. Focus strictly on tight topical relevance and real editorial standards rather than chasing arbitrary metrics like DA or DR.

Yes, guest posting is still worth it after recent Google updates, but only if you do it the right way.From what I have seen, it is no longer about mass posting or random low quality sites. Now it works best when the sites are niche relevant, have real traffic, and the content is actually useful.So quality matters more than quantity. A few strong guest posts on good websites can still help with rankings, authority, and referral traffic, but spammy or irrelevant placements don’t do much anymore.

I am still new, but guest posting still looks worth it if it is on real, relevant sites. It does not work well on low quality or random blogs anymore. It is better used as part of a broader SEO strategy, not on its own.

they're backlinks, and backlinks still work, so yes! Just do your due diligence to get only quality guest posts (this means you'll obviously need to have a quality site yourself, preferably with legit traffic too), otherwise you're wasting your time and money...

Guest posting still works, but the quality bar is much higher now. I’d focus more on relevant sites with real traffic and natural placements instead of chasing volume. A few strong placements usually outperform dozens of low-quality posts after the recent updates.
